Job summary

10 Design, part of the 10N Collective, seeks an Associate Vice President (AVP) to lead the San Francisco studio, guiding design excellence and driving business growth. You will mentor staff, shape studio culture, and collaborate with principals to deliver high-quality architectural projects across sectors.

The AVP will manage design teams, oversee client relationships, and lead presentations while advancing sustainability and innovation in the studio’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture plus 12-15+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Responsibilities

• Lead the design direction for projects across multiple sectors and scales.
• Oversee staffing, mentor staff, and manage project teams.
• Build client relationships and ensure design quality, schedule, and budget.
• Identify new opportunities and support proposals and marketing initiatives.
