Job summary

Bank of China, Chicago Branch, is seeking a Banking professional in the Business Development Department at Associate/AVP level. You will analyze credits, perform due diligence, and manage a portfolio of syndicated loans while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and familiarity with Sino-US trade updates. Based in Chicago, IL, the incumbent will participate in market research, credit recommendations, and client relationship activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance/Economics/Business Admin or Accounting preferred.
• 3–4 years in commercial banking or lending for AVP level; 3 years for Associate.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and ratios; knowledge of Sino-US trade is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Credit analysis of CRE and C&I borrowers with cash flow and ratio projections.
• Conduct due diligence reviews for real estate and corporate loans.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, AML, KYC and related policies.
• Prepare credit recommendations, market research and reporting materials.
