Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a senior Construction Disbursement Specialist in Los Angeles to manage lender-approved CRE construction draws from approval to funding, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. You will oversee Master Funding Ledgers, budgets, and lien resolution while coordinating with borrowers, title officers, and lenders.

The role requires 7–10 years of disbursement experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong IBS/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years construction disbursement processing experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of IBS.
• Strong familiarity with real estate loan servicing and accounting systems.
• Ability to work with complex Excel spreadsheets, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to create reports and tracking spreadsheets.
• Basic knowledge of real estate, escrow, title UCC, and lender due‑diligence processes.
• Strong knowledge of the construction process and typical disbursement requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Be a self-starter and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Establish the final Master Funding Ledger for assigned loans at closing.
• Verify equity payments and verification thereof on assigned loans.
• Ensure project budgets are set up correctly with fund control.
• Participate in post-closing meetings with lending and borrower teams.
• Prepare and monitor funding reports for management.
• Audit monthly interest payments due on assigned files.
• Review and balance all funding sources and budget categories.
• Coordinate fund control requests and project inspections.
• Maintain and organize construction project files.
• Review contracts and budgets for coherence with bank requirements.
