The Position

Our bank client is seeking an AVP Compliance Officer in Des Plaines, IL. The role involves ensuring the bank’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and advising business units. This is a hands-on role working across all bank functions.

Compensation and Location

The position offers a salary up to $120K plus a benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the bank’s compliance programs.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training on compliance matters.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and regulators.
  • Stay current with relevant laws and regulations.
