Job summary

RT Specialty, LLC, a division of Ryan Specialty, is seeking an AVP Casualty Claims for remote work in the United States. You will serve as the subject matter expert on Ryan Specialty coverage, accurately manage complex claims and produce coherent writing responses to rebuttal letters.

You will develop relationships with carriers and brokers, advise on coverage and claims issues, and strive for favorable outcomes for designated clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 8+ years of Commercial General Liability claims experience.
• Claims Adjuster License a plus.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

• Communicate with the insurance carriers’ claims department to resolve coverage issues.
• Draft coverage rebuttal position letters.
• Review policies and act as a sounding board for broker teams with technical coverage issues.
