Job summary

Global Bank in New York City is seeking an experienced AVP of Capital Management to lead financial planning, analysis, and capital allocation initiatives.

You will partner with internal teams to optimize resources, strengthen forecasting, and support strategic projects while maintaining strong controls and clear leadership communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field (master’s preferred).
• 4–6+ years of relevant financial services experience with FP&A background.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and valuation principles.
• Knowledge of regulatory capital requirements, risk-weighted assets, and stress testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with corporate and investment banking products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into insights.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines independently.
