Job summary

FTWCCU in Burleson, TX is seeking an AVP, Branch Manager to lead a full-service branch as the credit union's senior representative in its market.

This exempt role focuses on member experience, relationship growth, community presence, team performance, and maintaining a sound risk and controls environment; you will oversee daily operations and coach branch staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in banking/credit union with at least 2 years leading a team.
• Demonstrated record of growing member relationships.
• Knowledge of deposits, lending products, and BSA/AML regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and ensure a high-quality member experience.
• Lead and develop branch personnel to achieve performance goals.
• Maintain compliance in operations and manage risk and controls.

Job description

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:45am to 5:30pm; Friday: 8:45am to 6:30pm, and 2 Saturdays per month 8:30am to 12:30pm. This is an exempt-level position.

Summary: The AVP, Branch Manager leads a full-service branch as the credit union's senior representative in its market. As a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative, the credit union measures success by how well it improves the financial lives of its members and strengthens the communities it serves. The AVP, Branch Manager owns branch results and is accountable for member experience, relationship growth, community presence, team performance, and a sound risk and control environment.

The AVP, Branch Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring a consistent high-quality member experience, leading and developing branch personnel, maintaining compliance in operations, and engaging with the community at large.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of credit union, banking, or related financial services experience, including at least two years leading a team.
• Demonstrated record of growing member or customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of deposit and lending products and applicable regulations, including BSA/AML.

Preferred Qualifications

• Consumer and small business lending experience; NMLS registration where required.
• Established community or civic involvement in the branch market.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
