Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist to join its asset servicing team in New York.

Responsibilities include managing the lifecycle of global Corporate Action events, processing fixed income events, and supporting settlement processes with DTC, Euroclear, and foreign depositories. The role also requires leading proxy voting, handling 144A/Reg S conversions, and resolving exceptions by deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Corporate Actions or Asset Servicing experience.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income products, DTC, Euroclear, and global settlement processes.
• Experience with Repo, Stock Loan, and 144A/Reg S securities.
• Strong Excel skills; Client N-APe experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of global Corporate Action events, including reconciliations and fails management.
• Process fixed income events including P&I, calls, maturities, conversions, defaults, bankruptcies, and consent events.
• Support DTC, Euroclear, and foreign depository settlement processes.
• Lead proxy voting activities and shareholder reporting requirements.
• Process 144A/Reg S bond conversions and Corporate Actions related to Repo and Stock Loan positions.
• Investigate and resolve exceptions while meeting critical deadlines.
• Partner with Operations, Technology, brokers, custodians, and clients to improve processes and enhance STP.
• Maintain documentation and controls to support regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.
