Job summary

Deloitte France is seeking an Associate Vice President, AI and Data Solutions, to lead manufacturing, quality, and digital operations transformations for Life Sciences & Pharma clients. You will shape AI/ML use cases, translate business needs into scalable data solutions, and collaborate across business, product, and client teams to drive adoption.

You will oversee engagement planning, budgeting, staffing, and risk management, while mentoring practitioners and leading executive workshops.

Qualifications

8+ years in enterprise data architecture, analytics, AI/ML and digital transformation.
6+ years in Life Sciences/pharma manufacturing, quality, or ops projects.
6+ years with MES, QMS, LIMS, ERP, or PLM platforms.
4+ years leading complex technology engagements.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science/AI.
Ability to travel 50% on average.
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
The wage range reflects compensation decisions and geographic considerations; current range is $171,600 to $338,300.

Responsibilities

Lead AI & Data engagements focused on manufacturing, quality, and digital operations transformation for Life Sciences/Pharma clients.
Shape and deliver use cases such as process visibility, exception management, predictive insights, AI-assisted quality analytics, intelligent automation, and connected operations.
Translate business needs into scalable AI, data, and digital solution designs.
Collaborate across business, product, architecture, engineering, and client teams to support implementation and adoption.
Help clients connect process transformation with enabling systems, data foundations, and value realization.
Lead engagement planning, budgeting, staffing, and team mobilization for data and AI initiatives.
Define deliverable structure and content; manage quality, timelines, economics, and risk.
Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors; facilitate buy-in for solutions.
Lead BD activities including client relationships, pursuit leadership, proposals, and pricing input.
Coach and develop practitioners; staffing, recruitment, retention, and delivery leadership.
Lead workshops, executive presentations, and stakeholder sessions.
Mentor junior practitioners and contribute to practice, offering, and go-to-market development.
