Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP, Scrum Master to provide program management support to application development teams in Fort Mill, SC. The role emphasizes agile leadership, PI planning, and governance across demand, delivery, and quality metrics.

Responsibilities include facilitating ceremonies, coordinating releases, ensuring Jira accuracy, and guiding teams toward predictable delivery while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and management levels.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing development team projects from initiation to production support.
• 4+ years collaborating with Development, EA, QA, Release Management and Infrastructure teams.
• 4+ years of regular written and verbal communication across lifecycle.
• 4+ years using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• 4+ years of working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates agile ceremonies, including PI planning, sprint planning, standups, reviews and demos.
• Manages release planning and execution, coordinates change tickets with Release Management.
• Ensures transparency across teams up to the RTE and maintains Jira accuracy.
• Monitors capacity vs demand and tracks velocity and progress of PI objectives.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration and escalates risks when needed.
• Provides leadership to other project managers and fosters a positive team environment.
• Proactively identifies and removes impediments to program success.
• Assesses impact of projects on program portfolio and raises issues accordingly.
