BLUE ORIGIN is seeking an Avionics Components Test Engineer for the Lunar Permanence business unit in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will manage testing of Power Generation & Distribution units as part of human lunar missions. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in testing electronic systems. The position offers a salary range of $107,136.00 - $149,990.40, alongside comprehensive benefits including health insurance and stock options.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience testing and/or integrating electronic systems.
Familiarity with embedded controller behavior and fault detection.
Experience leading environmental qualification test campaigns.
Responsibilities
Own the test scope for Power Generation & Distribution units.
Plan, write, and execute test plans and procedures.
Support environmental test campaigns including anomaly resolution.
Communicate test status and support technical reviews.
Skills
Testing and integrating electronic systems
Understanding of electronics and electrical fundamentals
Developing and executing test plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education
B.S. or B.A. in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
Tools
Environmental test methods (thermal, vibration, EMI/EMC)
