Job summary

Astrolab in Hawthorne, California, is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer (All Levels) to design, build, and operate automated test systems for rover avionics, and to develop test hardware and software for acceptance campaigns.

The role covers entry to staff levels, with leveling commensurate to experience, and collaboration with Responsible and Manufacturing Engineers to improve reliability and yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field.
• 1+ years in avionics development or hardware test.
• Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate automated test systems for avionics units.
• Develop test hardware and software, and run acceptance/qualification tests.
• Write test automation software (Python, C/C++).
• Provide DFT feedback to improve test coverage and reliability.
