We are hiring immediately for an Avionics Technician.

Responsibilities
  • Functional Testing: Isolate and repair avionics system issues based on customer complaints, following FAA procedures
  • Problem Diagnosis: Analyze in-flight data and customer feedback to diagnose and correct issues
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve defects in units or wiring discrepancies
  • Component Replacement: Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed
  • Flight Testing: Accompany pilots to conduct functional tests on repaired or aligned systems as needed
  • Instruction Compliance: Perform duties based on aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and both oral and written instructions
What you need to be successful
  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
  • A minimum 2 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair is required
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification is helpful
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable, is required
