Job summary

AstroForge seeks an Avionics Technician to turn designs into mission-critical components in Seal Beach, CA. You will assemble PCBs, rework larger boards, and fabricate harnesses for space and ground systems with precision and speed.

The role demands 3+ years in aerospace or high-reliability settings, harnessing skills, and ability to read schematics. Soldering, multimeters, power supplies, and test equipment are essential. IPC-620 certs preferred; on-site work required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerospace or high-reliability environments.
• Strong ability to build and troubleshoot cable harnesses.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Hands-on electronics assembly with standard tools.
• IPC-620 certification (current or previous).
• Must work onsite in Seal Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and integrate PCBs and cable harnesses for space and ground systems.
• Fabricate and route complex harnesses with reliable terminations.
• Work from drawings, schematics, and instructions to install components.
• Procure and source electrical components as directed.
• Perform rework and repairs on PCBs and harnesses.
• Troubleshoot, test, and validate electrical systems to high reliability standards.
