Job summary

flyExclusive in Kinston, NC is seeking an Avionics Technician to install and service Garmin G5000 avionics, Gogo/Smartsky/Starlink wifi systems, and related components across aircraft. You will perform pre-installation testing, post-installation inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with engineering teams, maintain documentation, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced hangar environment. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations, IPM and ATA codes.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install Garmin G5000 avionics, Gogo/Smartsky/Starlink wifi systems per specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues across aircraft types.
• Perform post-install inspections and tests for compliance.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers for system integration.
• Maintain clean, accurate maintenance records and paperwork.
