Job summary

Guardian Flight in Ogden, UT is seeking an Avionics Technician Depot for a full-time role supporting EMS aircraft. Starting salary range is $78,287 - $113,480 annually, including a 20% geo modifier, plus a $12,500 sign-on bonus.

The position requires strong avionics maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting experience and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and be on-call. You'll work with 14 CFR Part 145 and Part 135 operations, ensuring compliance with manuals and FAA regulations

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• FAA Repairman certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 3 years field avionics maintenance on fixed-wing and/or rotorcraft under Part 135
• Experience installing avionics in modern aircraft
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and avionics systems
• Willingness to learn GM Manual, SOP, and FAA regulations
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24/7
• Strong judgment, integrity and safety mindset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Maintain avionics systems per data and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems.
• Install avionics in modern aircraft.
• Adhere to manuals and FAA regulations during maintenance and alterations.
• Be available for on-call and various shift schedules.
