Job summary

Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an Avionics Technician to perform maintenance on aircraft electronics systems. Responsibilities include installation, testing, fabrication and testing of wiring harnesses, and mock-up of instrument panels.

You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor, follow the Atlas Repair Station Manual, and ensure safety and quality in every task. DOT drug screening, background checks, and security clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years General Aviation avionics experience preferred.
• FAA A&P certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and installation data.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in modern turbine aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Understand assigned maintenance tasks before starting work.
• Perform maintenance per technical data and Atlas Repair Station Manual.
• Fabricate, terminate, and test avionics wiring harnesses.
• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interior and instrument panels.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workspace in safe, orderly condition.
• Notify supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
• Work various shifts, including weekends/holidays as needed.
