Job description

Launch Teams is seeking 2 Avionics Technicians for Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities

1. Basic Long Term Storage: Pickle engines and APU, remove and store all ELT, flashlight, and emergency light batteries, cover and wrap interior seats, exterior protection, flight deck windows, and PAX windows.
2. During Long Term Storage: Rob parts for aircraft in service (flight controls, landing gear, engines, LRUs), perform weekly and monthly inspections, rotate tires, motor engines if not pickled, operate hydraulics, move flight controls, lift augmentation surfaces, exercise landing gear struts.
3. Aircraft Reactivation: De-pickle engines, perform engine runs, reinstall charged batteries, conduct full aircraft systems checks, support test flights.
