Job summary

AAA-USA Inc in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Electrical Assembler to install, mount, and wire harnesses and electrical equipment for aerospace applications. You will follow mechanical drawings, schematics, and documented procedures to build electrical subassemblies with precision and safety.

The ideal candidate reads drawings fluently, demonstrates manual dexterity, and works well in a team under pressure. Occasional travel or relocation to Mobile, AL may be required to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in vocational studies (DVS) or Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in aeronautics, electrical assembly.
• Two years’ experience in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.
• Teamwork, flexibility, integrity and a high degree of professionalism are required.
• Manual abilities, dexterity and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules and PPE.
• Capacity to work as a team and under pressure and to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the installation, mounting and fixing electrical components on different media following drawings and documentation for electrical/electromechanical assemblies.
• Connect wires and components used in control members and equipment.
• Perform electrical connections: stripping, crimping, connectors and cable hooping.
• Carry out the installation and maintenance of the equipment.
• Record measurements and report irregularities.
• Verify compliance with standards defined in documentation.
• Apply the QSE management system and follow processes and instructions.
• Contribute to managing non-conformities, customer complaints and corrective/preventive actions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Electrical Assembler performs various tasks for the installation, mounting, and cabling of harnesses and electrical equipment. Sustains a high-quality level of work at all times while completing all work in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Execute the installation, mounting and fixing electrical components on different media (mechanical chassis, chassis controls or electrical panels) following the folder or technical documentation, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics for the realization of electrical, electronic or electromechanical assemblies or subassemblies.
• Proceed to the connections of wires and components used in the composition of control members and electromechanical or electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical connections: stripping, crimping, constitution connectors and hooping cables used in the composition of control outlets and electrical or electromechanical equipment.
• Carry out the installation and maintenance of the equipment.
• Record measurements and characteristics (trials, testing) and report any irregularities.
• Verify the compliance of the work with the generic and specific standards defined in the technical work documentation.
• Apply the QSE (quality, safety and environment) management system and respect the processes, procedures, and instructions currently in effect.
• Contribute to the management of non-confor.ities, customer complaints and corrective and preventive actions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
