Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Avionics Technician located in New Richmond, WI. The Avionics Technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing avionics equipment such as radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems in aircraft or space vehicles. Daily tasks involve reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, documenting repairs and maintaining records, and collaborating with team members to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with installing and repairing avionics equipment and systems
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in avionics systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance procedures
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
• Relevant certifications such as Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization (IA) are a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced training or education in avionics technology preferred
• Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field is highly beneficial
