Role Description

The Avionics Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Conway, AR. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing avionics systems and components, including communication, navigation, and flight control equipment. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical manuals, performing system troubleshooting, and completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft electrical and avionics systems. The technician will document all work performed, ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards, and collaborate closely with A&P mechanics and other team members. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, using proper tools and test equipment, and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics, with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and avionics components, including communication, navigation, and flight instrumentation.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance, including inspection, installation, and configuration of avionics equipment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing avionics and electrical issues using appropriate test equipment and methods.
• Hands-on experience with maintenance & repair of aircraft electrical and avionics systems in accordance with regulatory and safety standards.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate or formal avionics training preferred; related military or technical school experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations, industry standards, and maintenance documentation practices.
• Ability to work on-site in a hangar environment, lift and maneuver equipment as required, and follow safety procedures.
• Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team setting, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
