Job summary

gpac is seeking an avionics technician to join a hands-on maintenance team. You will inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems across radar, radio, navigation, and flight control subsystems.

You’ll work with wiring diagrams and test equipment, document all work, and support overall aircraft safety and reliability. FAA/FCC licenses are a plus and jet experience helps.

Qualifications

  • Degree in avionics or aviation technology or relevant electrical certifications.
  • Experience with mid-size private jets a plus.
  • FAA or FCC licenses are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Work on communication, navigation, and flight control systems, contributing to safety and efficiency.
  • Run cables, mount antennas, connect instruments, install radios, autopilots, and passenger entertainment systems.
  • Ensure avionics equipment works before take-off and does not interfere with other devices.
  • Keep detailed records of repairs and work performed on the aircraft.
