Job summary
West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Avionics Technical Sales Manager who combines technical avionics knowledge with sales instincts to grow our client base.
You will leverage Salesforce.com and other aviation databases to identify opportunities and coordinate with regional managers to align maintenance events with sales plans. This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on avionics experience, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and the ability to travel to
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on avionics experience in technician, technical representative or sales roles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to use other software systems.
- Willingness to travel to customer events and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Salesforce.com to identify sales opportunities and manage accounts.
- Analyze market trends and competition to align with sales objectives.
- Prepare bids, proposals, and contract reviews to secure transactions.
- Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers on maintenance events and opportunities.
- Provide technical input on RFQs, pricing, and quote accuracy.
