Job summary

West Star Aviation in Perryville, MO is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician. You will troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems at the component level, and participate in inspections and customer-focused project support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
• Valid driver's license suitable for airline travel and/or a passport is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Remove/install panels and components and perform repair work on avionics.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics systems on aircraft.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components as designated.
• Verify aircraft performance and system operation.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Collaborate with customers in project management, pricing, and support.
• Work independently on projects and follow FAA guidelines.
