This role involves systems engineering and technical documentation efforts for various aviation platforms, focusing on Performance Based Navigation and compliance activities. Required skills include proficiency in programming languages and technical writing, along with a BS degree in a relevant field. The position is full-time onsite in Lexington Park, MD, offering a salary range of $122k-$165k based on experience.
Qualifications
Proficiency in two or more high-order programming languages such as C, C++, Ada, or Java.
Ability to interpret complex data outputs and analyze technical problems.
Demonstrated ability to work in a technical team environment.
Responsibilities
Support evaluation of avionics systems and associated software artifacts.
Assist in certification efforts for RNAV, RNP, and CNS/ATM approvals.
Develop technical documentation including test plans and compliance support.
Skills
Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals
Proficiency in high-order programming languages
