The Boeing Company is seeking an Electronic & Electrical System Design Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) for the B-1 Bomber Avionics Integrated Support Facility at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. This role involves collaborating with a small, highly skilled team to design and upgrade lab test articles and systems, ensuring readiness for ground and flight testing.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

Responsabilités

• Design lab changes for new test articles and integration that support platform upgrades.
• Design lab changes to existing systems to resolve DMS incorporating new technology.
• Collaborate with the cyber security team to make design changes that support cyber security requirements.
• Develop and support the generation of hardware modification and configuration planning.
• Direct material procurement for lab design upgrades, modifications, and assembly oversight.
• Create test plans and procedures, perform engineering verification, analyze test results, and create test reports.
• Performs classification and de-classification of test equipment to support lab users.
• Support software engineers in the lab environment, troubleshooting laboratory and test-related problems.
• Contribute to proposal development for new business opportunities.
• Candidate must be willing to travel for short periods.
