Job summary

Boeing in Oklahoma is seeking an Electronic & Electrical System Design Engineer for the B-1 Bomber AISF at Tinker AFB. You will join a collaborative Lab Operations team focused on avionics hardware, test equipment, and integration to support flight software development.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience, ability to obtain a US security clearance, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required for the US security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering on complex systems.
• Experience troubleshooting avionics equipment, electronics, or aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Design lab changes for new test articles and platform upgrades.
• Design lab changes to resolve DMS and incorporate new tech.
• Collaborate with cyber security to meet requirements.
• Develop hardware modification and configuration planning.
• Direct material procurement for lab upgrades and assembly oversight.
• Create test plans, perform verification, analyze results, and generate reports.
• Classify and de-classify test equipment for lab users.
• Support software engineers in the lab environment.
• Contribute to proposal development for new business opportunities.
• Travel for short periods as needed.
