Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Aircraft Survivability Equipment Electrical and Computer Engineer to design, develop, test, and field countermeasures systems for military aviation. You will work on air countermeasures software and hardware, perform testing, and help deliver critical defense capabilities.

You will collaborate in a team, apply modern software practices, and pursue expertise in avionics while potentially obtaining a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in research, engineering, or technical support to U.S. military systems such as aircraft systems, avionics, or countermeasures dispensing systems.
Experience in software and firmware programming languages such as C, C++, 8051 Assembly, Python, or ADA.
Experience working as part of an engineering team, communicating and thinking critically about mission objectives and development paths.
Knowledge of hardware emulation systems, test equipment, and development of test plans, scripts, software, or hardware.
Ability to apply modern software development practices to develop and configure software, resolve bugs, and document codebase.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and field complex hardware and software for aircraft countermeasures systems.
Work on currently fielded survivability equipment and associated software, hardware, and test fixtures.
Develop software, configure hardware, and perform testing to verify system performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to meet mission objectives and program needs.
