Job summary

Leidos, Inc. is seeking an Avionics Engineering Support professional to provide engineering and technical support for Hybrid SATCOM systems across defense and government aviation programs.

You will work on integration, testing, sustainment, and modernization of airborne SATCOM and avionics across multiple aircraft, ensuring secure, reliable communications for operational missions worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 2+ years.
• Experience with airborne communication systems integration and avionics troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Hybrid SATCOM architectures and aircraft integration processes.
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, testing, and sustainment of airborne Hybrid SATCOM and avionics systems.
• Assist with integration of SATCOM terminals, RF, antennas, interfaces and mission equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for avionics and SATCOM issues.
• Develop and maintain engineering docs: interface control documents, wiring diagrams, test procedures.
• Support lab, ground, and flight testing to verify system performance and readiness.
