Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the AD&S team. You will work closely with avionics engineers to review and design electrical integration details, ensuring documentation and communication to stakeholders.

The role focuses on system-level power design, microcontroller bring-up, and mixed-signal PCB development for high-reliability air platforms, requiring hands-on lab work and collaboration across hardware, software, and test engineers. A U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
  • Ability to perform power system analysis, simulation, and testing.
  • Proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMM, analyzers) and basic software debugging.
  • Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, RS485/RS232, USB interfaces.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills; U.S. security clearance eligibility.
  • Hands-on power design experience and microcontroller bring-up.
  • Knowledge of mixed-signal PCB design, grounding, impedance, and filtering.
  • Understanding of low/high voltage power electronics and wiring harnesses.

Responsibilities

  • Full PCB design cycle from requirements to layout and system integration.
  • Bring-up microcontrollers and ensure smooth system integration.
  • Troubleshoot electrical/software boundary issues using lab equipment and debugging tools.
  • Support fast-paced development, deployments, and customer hardware.
  • Develop power management systems and integrate payload interfaces.
  • Create system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test teams.
  • Conduct peer reviews across disciplines.
