Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks an Avionics Obsolescence Engineer in Lexington Park, MD to support the SETR process for complex control systems and translate mission requirements into improved avionics performance.

You will collaborate with OEMs to redesign, develop, and integrate system upgrades, enhancing overall mission system effectiveness onsite. A Bachelor’s in engineering is required, with preferred Master’s in engineering or science and active clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in avionics or obsolescence.
• Knowledge of avionics systems and systems integration challenges.
• Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition SETR process in support of complex control systems.
• Work with existing teams to understand current challenges.
• Collaborate with OEMs to redesign, develop, and integrate system upgrades.
• Assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to improve system performance.
• Use electrical engineering skills to develop future technologies within the avionics discipline.
