Join to apply for the Avionics Mechanic -- King Air role at Science and Engineering Services, LLC.

The Avionics Mechanic installs and repairs electrical parts, units, and components on aircraft.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Installing units, parts, equipment, and components in avionics assembly according to blueprints and specifications.
  2. Fabricating and assembling prototype equipment for military aircraft, familiar with military manuals, orders, and blueprints.
  3. Coordinating with project engineers and providing technical assistance.
  4. Servicing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
  5. Repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft components such as wiring harnesses, power systems, communication/navigation systems, and flight control systems using various tools.
  6. Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, technical manuals, FAA FARs, and aircraft manuals.
  7. Servicing batteries to maintain safe operating conditions.
  8. Installing units, parts, and components in structural assemblies per blueprints.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical or military training preferred.

Experience: At least four years of direct experience in avionics maintenance, primarily in military aviation or equivalent training.

Substitutions of education/experience may be considered with managerial approval.
