Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Install Technician to assemble and service avionics systems on civilian aircraft. You will replace components, route wires, and troubleshoot to ensure aircraft meet all specifications. Candidates should show reliability, teamwork, and the ability to follow FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics/avionics training preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to follow wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license or passport ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of panels, components and interiors; repair avionics installations.
• Stamp, bundle and install connectors on wiring.
• Remove old wiring and install new wire bundles in aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics systems on the aircraft.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; assist in hangar operations.
• Work in a team, or independently on projects as required.
