Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks an Avionics Launch Vehicle Engineer to lead and manage engineering teams evaluating Avionics systems for Blue Origin's New Glenn launch vehicle. The role requires extensive experience in electrical engineering, mission assurance, and strong leadership capabilities. Candidates must have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and ideally an advanced degree. This full-time, on-site position is located at the Los Angeles Space Force Base in El Segundo, CA, with a competitive salary range from $117,300 to $226,900 annually.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related engineering experience for Project Engineer.
• 12+ years for Sr Project Engineer with design experience.
• The position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, development, and testing for Avionics systems.
• Manage Engineering & Technology Group on technical assessments.
• Build relationships with Space Force and contractors.
