Quality Inspector (Electrical)

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Avionics Technicians for a helicopter production environment in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

These workers will be building and assembling new helicopters and will not be repairing or performing maintenance on active helicopters.

• 30% Assemble, modify & install wire bundles, conductors & other electrical components.
• 30% Proper documentation & logging critical information.
• 30% Read & interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc.
• 10% Other projects as assigned.

• Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors and other electrical components.
• Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, verify parts requests, etc.
• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc.
• Use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, complex, specialized aircraft test equipment, etc.
• Effectively communicate, orally and written, with other employees, management, and others as required in duties.
• Perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions, while wearing required safety equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3+ years minimum of on aircraft avionics production.
• Experience assembling and installing systems, executing final assembly line tasks.
• Ability to work on rotary or fixed wing aircraft (prefer rotary wing when possible).
• Knowledge of various aviation electrical components.
