Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in the United States is seeking an avionics installer to support the removal/installation of avionics electrical components and harness fabrication. The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting schematics, and working as part of a team to install, modify and test systems to meet standards.

Minimum two years in aviation electronics or an avionics certificate with related work experience is preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or equivalent experience.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
Hands-on experience with wiring terminations, connector assembly and harness fabrication.
Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components per drawings.
Maintain required logs and records.
Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Perform ring-out and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
Adhere to FOD, tool control, 5-S and safety programs.
Keep a neat and orderly work area.
