Voyager Technologies in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer I - Avionics for Voyager Lunar Systems. You will design PCBs for spacecraft avionics, execute component trade studies, and develop test procedures across product lines.

Reporting to the Electronic Systems Manager, this hybrid role in Pittsburgh requires 0-2 years in electronics hardware development, proficiency with Altium/Eagle/OrCAD, and hands-on lab testing to advance mission-critical hardware.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in electronics hardware development.
• Schematic and board design proficiency using Altium, Eagle, OrCAD, or similar.
• Experience using lab equipment to execute test procedures for assembled PCBs or integrated systems.

Responsibilities

• Design PCBs for spacecraft avionics systems.
• Trade studies on electronic components.
• Develop test procedures for boards and systems.
• Test fabricated PCBs or integrated avionics systems.
• Participate in environmental tests of engineering design units.
• Participate in qualification tests of flight design units.
• Program embedded systems, FPGAs, microcontrollers, computer processors, graphic processors, or similar.
• Report progress to the Avionics Lead on progress.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop testing with engineering and flight systems.
• Write and present technical reports.
