Scientific Research Corporation is hiring a DoD SkillBridge Intern - Field Service Engineer at US-FL Hurlburt Field. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, and testing of avionics and communications systems for Air Force customers, with global deployments as needed.

Ideal candidates have extensive aircraft avionics maintenance or DoD SIGINT experience, willingness to operate as a single maintainer, and eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Five years of aircraft avionics maintenance or DoD SIGINT experience.
• Ability to operate as a single maintainer at CONUS/OCONUS locations, including hostile areas.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, test, modification, assembly, and maintenance of avionics/electronic systems.
• Evaluate components, subsystems, test equipment, and software.
• Provide technical support to Air Force customers on operations and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform aircraft installation, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment.
• Support flight test and evaluations of new systems and configurations.
• Mentor junior electronics technicians and Air Force personnel.
• Deploy worldwide with AFSOC personnel for exercises and contingencies.
