Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a skilled avionics technician to support engineering activities, troubleshooting and maintenance of advanced electronic systems. You will evaluate components, provide technical Air Force customer support, and assist in training junior staff.

The role may include aircraft installation, testing, and deployment with AFSOC personnel, including hostile environments, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of aircraft avionics maintenance experience or equivalent DoD SIGINT experience.
• Able to operate as a single maintainer at CONUS or OCONUS locations, including hostile areas.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, test, modification, assembly, maintenance and repair of electronic systems and avionics equipment.
• Evaluating components, subsystems, test equipment and software.
• Provide technical support to Air Force customers on operations and maintenance of communications/surveillance equipment.
• Assist in training junior electronics technicians and Air Force personnel.
• Deploy worldwide with AFSOC personnel in contingency operations.
