Overview:

We are looking for a highly capable Avionics Software Engineer with a background in developing safety-critical embedded software for aerospace applications. The successful candidate will bring expertise in object-oriented design methodologies and be experienced in crafting key documentation such as Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Software Design Descriptions (SDD).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct object-oriented analysis and design aligned with industry best practices (OOT methodology)
• Create, maintain, and review software documentation, including SRS and SDD
• Evaluate and manage control and data flow between software modules to ensure system integrity
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle in compliance with DO-178B/C standards
• Develop embedded software applications on Deos RTOS or similar real-time operating systems

Required Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge and practical application of DO-178B/C guidelines
• Proven experience working with Deos RTOS or equivalent real-time operating systems
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and modeling for embedded environments
• Understanding of control/data coupling in modular software architectures
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration
