Job summary

Varstaff Staffing is seeking an Avionics / Electro-Mechanical Technician III in Kent, WA to provide hands-on support across development, test, and flight environments within the Avionics Hardware Lab. You will assemble, fabricate, test, and repair flight-grade avionics, battery systems, power distribution, and wire harnesses from schematics and layouts.

Candidates should have 3+ years in aerospace avionics or related high-reliability fields, hands-on component-level board work, and EPA/ESD

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace avionics or related high-reliability fields (5–7 years preferred).
• Hands-on component-level board work, mechanical assembly, and wire harness fabrication.
• Experience inspecting and certifying work to relevant aerospace specifications and standards.
• Experience in EPA/ESD environments and tool control processes.
• U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on electro-mechanical support across development, test, and flight environments.
• Assemble, fabricate, test, and repair flight-grade avionics, battery systems, power distribution, and wire harnesses.
• Work from schematics and engineering layouts; perform testing and fault isolation.
• Input design improvements and process optimizations for safety and reliability.
