Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Avionics Electrical Installer for developmental/prototype rotorcraft. You will interpret engineering drawings, install wiring and avionics per FAA standards, and diagnose issues to keep programs on schedule.

You will also provide engineering feedback to improve installation documentation and may travel to customer sites to support program requirements, leveraging strong rotorcraft and avionics integration experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FAA Airframe and Power Plant certification or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with avionics installation on rotorcraft.
• Experience with FAA STC/MWO development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to install avionics and electrical systems.
• Install wiring and avionics per FAA standards and industry practices.
• Troubleshoot electrical and avionics issues on developmental/prototype aircraft.
• Provide feedback to engineering and logistics to improve installation documents.
• Travel to customer sites to support programs as required.
