Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for Falcon & Dragon Avionics to develop hardware from concept through production and launch. You will own avionics hardware across the life cycle, drive schematic and drawing changes, and lead root-cause investigations to improve reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical/computer engineering, 1+ years in hardware design, and hands-on test equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
• 1+ years in electronics hardware design.
• 1+ years with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design new hardware and modify PCBAs for reliability and manufacturability.
• Own avionics hardware across product life cycle.
• Update electrical schematics and mechanical drawings for reliability.
• Conduct root cause investigations of off-nominal behavior.
• Provide engineering justification to resolve production issues.
• Design test setups and validate hardware via bench and environmental testing.
