Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Wichita, KS seeks an avionics assembler to join our precision manufacturing team. You will assemble highly technical electronic parts, subassemblies, and systems for aircraft instruments and avionics, ensuring exact fit and reliable operation.

You’ll diagnose and refine through de-soldering, troubleshooting, and component replacement, conduct final performance tests with standard test equipment, and document shop orders and reports to regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two-year electronics degree or equivalent education
• Experience with avionic equipment such as pressure gauges, batteries, and inverters is a plus
• Proficiency with PCB soldering is a bonus (training available)

Responsibilities

• Assemble highly technical electronic parts, subassemblies, and systems for avionics and instruments.
• Diagnose, de-solder, troubleshoot, and replace components to resolve issues.
• Conduct final testing across avionics using electronic test equipment.
• Document shop and manufacturing order records and required reports.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, procedures, and manuals to ensure perfect fit and function.
