Job summary

FEAM Aero is seeking an A&P Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics) based at LAX. The role focuses on line maintenance, troubleshooting avionics, and ensuring airworthiness releases in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate must hold a valid FAA A&P license with 2+ years of line maintenance experience, have a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required.
• 2+ years of recent line maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Must pass airport security background checks and travel.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) on various customers' aircraft.
• Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases within the scope of approval.
• Troubleshoot avionics components and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with FARs and manuals; document work.
• Test and troubleshoot instruments and assemblies using circuit testers or voltmeters.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
