Job summary

FEAM Aero is seeking an A&P Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics) to perform line maintenance and avionics troubleshooting on customer aircraft at LAX. The role ensures airworthiness releases and timely service in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must hold an FAA A&P license with 2+ years of line maintenance experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read wiring diagrams, and travel as needed. Flexibility for nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a current FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
• 2+ years of experience in recent line maintenance with troubleshooting focus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and work around moving parts.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) on various customers’ aircraft.
• Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases.
• Inspect, service, and maintain aircraft, engines, and components.
• Troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems; repair as needed.
• Ensure departing aircraft are safe and properly documented per FARs and manuals.
• Collaborate with maintenance control and test instruments and assemblies.
