Job summary

Onslow County Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time AVID Tutor for the 2026-2027 school year in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The role supports AVID with flexible hours up to 18 hours per week and requires a vehicle for site-to-site travel.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree with emphasis in mathematics, reading, writing and content knowledge, a minimum 2.5 GPA, and be prepared to participate in 16 hours of training. Salary ranges from $15–$25 per hour based on licensure.

• Ability to maintain classroom order and discipline.
