Job summary

Calista is seeking a Wheel and Tire Technician / Aircraft Mechanic to perform a range of tasks on wheel assemblies for multiple aircraft platforms. The role requires inspecting tires, replacing worn components, servicing bearings, and documenting actions in NAMIS.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and while FAA certification may be preferred for certain platforms, it is not required for daily duties. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Beginner to intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software.
• Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft wheels and tires for wear or damage.
• Remove and install tires on wheel assemblies using approved tools.
• Service tires with correct pressure and inflation medium.
• Disassemble and reassemble wheel assemblies and inspect components.
• Perform maintenance per manuals and NAMIS records.
