Belcan is seeking an experienced Upholstery Shop Technician II in Marysville, WA to support daily shop activities. You will handle panel preparation, covering installation, assembly, finishing, and detailing of aircraft interior components.

Candidates should have 3+ years of upholstery experience and be comfortable with fabric, leather, Tedlar, adhesives, and other materials. Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on upholstery experience.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and drawings.
• Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and upholster components using various fabrics and materials.
• Prepare and install coverings including fabric, leather, and Tedlar.
• Apply spray adhesive and perform bonding/covering processes.
• Wrap edges and perform detailed finishing work.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of components.
• Complete upholstery installations and modifications as assigned.
• Interpret engineering drawings, material specifications, and work instructions.
• Ensure finished components meet quality and design requirements.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately for traceability.
• Assist the Upholstery Lead in meeting production schedules.
• Maintain tools and shop equipment in good working condition.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures.
