Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Telematics (iOPS) Intern to work on the iOPS Telematics platform and embedded equipment. The internship is paid, 40 hours per week for 8–10 weeks in an office setting; this is not remote.

The role involves data collection, tool development, simulator activities, dashboard customization, and process documentation within an aviation ground support context. Strong teamwork and relevant engineering studies are required.

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field for entire duration of internship.
• Experience with data collection or analytics is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with onboard systems to collect data
• Develop portable tools for data collection
• Portal testing
• Compile data and correlate meaning to events
• Propose simulator activities
• Develop simulation activity
• Present simulator activities as a story via iOPS portal
• Dashboard customization
• Process documentation
• Fleet monitoring
